Church Baptism

On May 15th, Kenton Alliance Church will be baptizing at least 10 believers who have given their lives to Christ. Baptism of course is our way of walking in the footsteps of Jesus and showing the world that we have been born again.

In speaking of the Baptism of Jesus, Matthew 4:13-17 explains (of Jesus):
13
Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John. 14 But John tried to deter him, saying, “I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?”

15 Jesus replied, “Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness.” Then John consented.

16 As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. 17 And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”

We are delighted for all the Lord is doing here in our midst. Our desire is to be faithful, followers of Christ and live our lives to honor Him. We would love for you to join us on May 15th as we celebrate those that are making a public proclamation of their faith. To Him be the glory!
