Mother’s Day

With Mother’s Day approaching, we want to stop and say thank you. The truth is, who we are today is a reflection of those that raised us and poured so much into our lives. In Proverbs 31, we read about the wife of a noble character. We’re told…

28
Her children arise and call her blessed;
    her husband also, and he praises her:
29 “Many women do noble things,
    but you surpass them all.”
30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;
    but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
31 Honor her for all that her hands have done,
    and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.

Proverbs 31: 28-31

The truth is, while many people have an impact on our lives, a mom is unique to all else. The one who comforts you when you scuff your knee, the one who is there to wipe your tears, and yet the one who is their rejoicing with you in your greatest victories in life. This week, we’re grateful for moms!

At Kenton Alliance Church, we’re excited to celebrate moms. We give God the glory for one of the greatest gifts of all, a loving mom.
